Our Story
DC CPAs formed on August 1, 2020 by combining a previous firm (Cook, Witty, Cornwell) and non-attest components of another firm (Criswell CPA). In our short but industrious history, we have leveraged our knowledge and expertise to create a compelling environment for our clients and staff members. We retain three CPAs with diverse backgrounds in public accounting, governmental, and industry. Our talented staff have decades of experience with tax preparation, accounting, bookkeeping, payroll and more.
Tiffany Davidson, CPA
Tiffany started her career at KPMG, Kerr-McGee, and other industry before co-founding Cornwell CPAs in Duncan Oklahoma. Shortly thereafter, her CPA firm merged with Claud Cook and Edward Witty's to form Cook, Witty, and Cornwell. Tiffany's extensive career path has provided her with a wealth of accounting experience and knowledge uniquely applicable to Oklahoma's oil and gas economy. Additionally, she is well versed in agriculture, manufacturing, retail, service industries and more. Her knowledge of the internal revenue code ensures our client's compliance while minimizing their tax burden.
Josiah Criswell, CPA
Josiah started his career at the Association of South Central Oklahoma Governments (ASCOG) and Halliburton before founding Criswell CPA. Josiah's background in local government and the oil service industry has provided him with accounting experience and knowledge applicable to federal and state grant compliance along with multi-state and foreign tax compliance. Additionally, Josiah's governmental background provided him with a foundation for fund accounting and the unique implications of non-profit organizations. Josiah maintains Criswell CPA, PLLC for attest and financial audit engagements.
